Lenovo MiiX 720 Windows 2-in-1 now available for 1200 Euros
Announced at CES earlier this year, the Lenovo Miix 720 is a portable Windows 10 Pro tablet with a detachable keyboard base. Core specifications include:
- 12-inch QHD+ (2880 x 1920) resolution touchscreen
- Intel Core i5-7200U or i7-7500U CPU (depending on SKU)
- Up to 8 hours of battery life
- 1.1 kg keyboard
- 14.6 mm thick
The system will ship with the Lenovo Active Pen 2 stylus for signing documents, editing pictures, or taking notes. Other features include a keyboard backlight, an infrared camera with face detection for Windows Hello support, and an improved kickstand for angle adjustments up to 150 degrees. When turned off, the system can serve as a power bank to charge other devices connected via USB. Finally, the versatile Thunderbolt 3 port allows users to connect up to two 4K external displays if desired.
The Miix 720 is now shipping across Europe in Champagne Gold and Iron Gray color options starting at 1200 Euros. The price point is comparable to the Surface Pro 4, but both its higher resolution display and Thunderbolt 3 port may make the Lenovo solution a more attractive offering.
