Deal | Lenovo Legion Slim 5 gaming laptop with 14.5" OLED screen, Ryzen 7, and RTX 4060 drops back to its record-low price

Lenovo's Legion Slim 5 with a 14.5" screen did really well in our review. It secured a score of 88%, which makes it stand strong against its competitors. The same gaming laptop has received a generous discount, dropping from the current listed price of $1,479.99 to $1,049.99 on Best Buy.

The configuration of the gaming laptop that's on sale comes with the AMD Ryzen 7 7840HS. It's a top-tier APU from the Zen 4 Phoenix-HS lineup, which we found to pair well with the Nvidia RTX 4060. More specifically, in our review, we gave the processor a performance rating of 71.1 points, while the overall system achieved a score of 90.1 points. Both of these are respectable numbers for a laptop of this size.

Besides, this Lenovo Legion Slim 5 boasts a 14.5" OLED display that offers 2.8K resolution, 100% DCI-P3 coverage, and a 120 Hz refresh rate. It also features HDR 500 with a brightness rating of 400 nits. The panel performed well in our tests, but note that it doesn't support G-Sync.

We were also quite impressed by the cooling setup of this Legion Slim 5. The gaming laptop didn't output any GPU, CPU, or SSD performance throttling in our stress tests. Its build quality is good too. The laptop has a solid 180-degree hinge with decent rigidity at the lower angles.
