Lenovo is expected to showcase a gaming laptop with a rollable OLED display at CES 2026. It is targeting professional esports gamers with a large display mounted to a laptop, blending desktop like screen real-estate with portability.

Lenovo has something very interesting in the works for laptop gamers. Earlier this month, unofficial news about a rollable gaming laptop surfaced giving a first look at the rumored device. Now, more information about the laptop has been shared and it is going to be a performance beast, with the largest ever display on a laptop.

As per the latest report by Windows Latest, Lenovo’s Legion Pro Rollable gaming laptop, will be based on the Legion Pro 7i. It will be powered by a “maxed-out Intel Core Ultra processor,” likely the Core Ultra 9 275HX, and an Nvidia RTX 5090 GPU. The most interesting part of the laptop will be the rollable PureSight OLED screen that in its smallest configuration will be 16 inches. There will be a button somewhere on the laptop that will start expanding the display, giving users an option to stop at 21.5 inches or go all the way to 24 inches.

The publication states that it uses a dual-motor tension-based mechanism to roll the OLED from both sides (horizontally). This not only expands the display evenly but also keeps it taught. As to what resolution and aspect ratios will be reserved for the three different sizes, remains to be seen. The report mentions that the display will adjust the aspect ratio based on the size of the screen. The Legion Pro 7i (buy RTX 5070 ti model on Amazon) available in the market features a 16-inch WQXGA (2,560 x 1,600) OLED display with 16:10 aspect ratio. It is said to be a smooth rolling display with low noise, using low-friction materials for improved longevity.

Windows Latest adds that the Legion Pro Rollable gaming laptop will be packed with AI features like Lenovo’s AI Engine+, Smart FPS, AI Frame Gaming Display, AI Screen Detection, Cursor Tracking, AI Game Assistance, and Adaptive AI Lighting.

Lenovo has not shared any information about the Legion Pro Rollable but it is expected to be presented at CES 2026 as a proof of concept. Whether it will eventually reach the general public or remain a concept forever, only time will tell.
