Deal | Lenovo Legion 5 with AMD Ryzen 5, GeForce GTX 1650 Ti, and 120 Hz IPS display now on sale for $699 USD
Walmart is currently offering the Lenovo Legion 5 gaming laptop for $200 USD off the original launch price. The configuration in question is a budget system designed for 1080p gaming.
Core specifications include the Ryzen 5 4600H CPU and GeForce GTX 1650 Ti GPU. The AMD CPU is comparable to the common Intel Core i7-10750H which pairs very well with this particular GTX GPU. The system also comes with a 120 Hz IPS display for both ultra-smooth motion and the ability to target 40 FPS with no screen tearing which would have otherwise been impossible on most 60 Hz displays.
Drawbacks to the deal include the limited 8 GB of system RAM and likely slow display response times. The first can thankfully be remedied by adding a second RAM module, but the second may lead to noticeable ghosting when gaming despite the fast refresh rate. Additionally, the GTX 1650 Ti is an aging GPU that is now two generations behind the latest RTX 30 laptops.
