The Lenovo Legion 5 gaming laptop with a Zen 3+ Ryzen 7 7735HS CPU and RTX 4060 GPU has scored a massive price drop of $250 on eBay resulting in the machine sliding below $900. At the discounted price, the Lenovo Legion 5 is an undeniable value based on the performance of the components on offer.

Last month, we reported that the Lenovo Legion 5 gaming laptop with a Ryzen 7 7735HS CPU, an RTX 4060 laptop GPU, 16 GB of RAM, and 512 GB of storage was going for $850 at Walmart. Antonline, which was the seller of the original deal, is now offering the same Legion 5 configuration on eBay. So, if you missed out earlier you can once again buy the laptop for an awesome $250 off the list price (via slickdeals).

On the outside, the Lenovo Legion 5 packs a 15.6-inch QHD IPS display with an advertised 100% sRGB coverage, a 165 Hz refresh rate, 350 nits of brightness, and support for NVIDIA G-SYNC/AMD FreeSync. The display is also Dolby Vision-certified. There is a backlit keyboard under the panel that incorporates a number pad and a large trackpad.

Rounding off the outside chassis is a port selection marked by a single HDMI 2.1 out, three USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A ports, and two USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C ports with DisplayPort 1.4 and PowerDelivery. There is also a solitary ethernet and a combo jack.

When it comes to performance, the combination of the Ryzen 7 7735HS and an RTX 4060 should result in superlative FHD gaming. Our testing showed that the 8-core Ryzen 7 7735HS is on the same level as the Ryzen 9 6900HS which means the chip should handle gaming as well as demanding workloads fairly well.

Similarly, although the RTX 4060 laptop is a mid-range mobile GPU (Buy the desktop variant on Amazon), the card is a capable FHD gamer with enough grunt to drive modern titles like Helldivers 2 and Skull & Bones above 60 FPS at 1080p/Ultra.

Put simply, the Lenovo Legion 5 is worth checking out as it seems like a pretty solid mid-range option for budget-conscious gamers.
