Leak reveals Apple's September online event schedule with new iPad, Watch Series 6, iPhone 12 series, AirTags and AirPower all in tow
A new leak has revealed the supposed schedule for Apple's September hardware launch event. As with all rumours, we would take this information with some scepticism for the time being. According to @komiya_kj, the schedule for Apple's September event is as follows:
- Opening Video
- Speech by Tim Cook
- Apple Card announced for more countries
- iPad (Gen 8)
- Watch Series 6
- iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Max
- AirTags
- iPhone 12 Pro and Pro Max
- AirPower
These announcements will apparently happen one after the other, so the positioning of the AirTags seems strange. Typically, Apple showcases its new iPhones in one go, but this schedule states that Apple will split the announcement of the iPhone 12 series with AirTags. @komiya_kj has stressed that this schedule is subject to change, for reference.
Additionally, they have now claimed that Apple's September event will occur on September 8 or September 22. The account also included the phrase "fifty-fifty" below those dates, although they did not clarify what that meant in this context. Either, it means that @komiya_kj is 50/50 on those dates, or that there is an equal chance of the launch occurring on either September 8 or September 22. Either way, September's event would appear to be a packed one.
