LG has launched three new xboom party speakers. The Power 9000, Power 7000 and Power 5000 offer 440W, 340W and 260W of continuous output, respectively. They also come with AI karaoke, multicolor lighting, DJ effects, and Auracast support.

LG has officially launched three new xboom party speakers. The Power 9000 is the top model, while the Power 7000 and Power 5000 offer lower power levels. All three speakers use LG's xboom Signature Sound, tuned by multiple Grammy Award-winning musician will.i.am.

LG also recently launched the xboom Blast (available on Amazon), which we covered earlier. The new Power speakers are aimed more at larger gatherings, while the Blast is easier to carry and better suited to outdoor use.

The Power 9000 delivers 440W of continuous output from two 10-inch woofers and two 1-inch horn tweeters, with LG claiming around 2,000 square metres of coverage. The Power 7000 drops to 340W and uses a 10-inch woofer with two 1-inch horn tweeters, while the Power 5000 delivers 260W from an 8-inch woofer and two 2-inch tweeters. LG claims around 800 and 400 square metres of coverage for the two models, respectively.

AI Karaoke Master is a major feature across the range. It includes AI Vocal Remover, which removes vocals from songs in a user's music library, while Key Changer adjusts the pitch. Dedicated karaoke tracks are not required, and each speaker has two microphone inputs, allowing two people to sing together.

Beyond karaoke, the speakers add several features for parties and everyday listening. Multicolor AI lighting and DJ Performance Effects add visual effects, while the Smart Stand holds a phone or tablet for displaying lyrics. AI Sound can adjust the audio to the music genre, and Space Calibration Pro adapts the sound to the size and layout of the room. Sound Field Enhance can make the soundstage wider, while Auracast lets compatible xboom speakers play the same audio in sync for wider coverage.

Compared with JBL's PartyBox Stage 320 (available on Amazon), the LG Power 5000 has a higher listed output at 260W, versus 240W RMS for the JBL. The JBL is lighter at 16.5 kg and offers up to 18 hours of playback with a replaceable battery. Both support karaoke and Auracast, while the JBL also has wheels for easier transport.

The LG xboom Power series will be available in select markets starting in August 2026. LG says availability, pricing and model specifications may vary by region.
