Known Rockstar Games leaker says Grand Theft Auto V will be available on Xbox Games Pass for PC

While Rockstar Games is preparing for the launch of GTA 6, the predecessor title is reportedly coming to the Xbox Game Pass for PC for the first time. GTA 5 was previously available on the subscription service but only for consoles, and it's not yet clear whether the game will also return to the console lineup.

As for GTA V coming to Xbox Game Pass for PC, this information comes from a known Rockstar Games leaker, Tez2. The tipster hasn't shared the exact date, but Tez2 says that the studio is preparing "for future availability." While this is still a rumor, bringing the game to PC Game Pass now makes sense.

The next installment of the series, GTA 6, is set to be released in the fall of 2025, and as Rockstar Games reveals more about the title, there can be a reignition of interest in the series, especially the last released title. This could also make Grand Theft Auto V even more popular than it already is.

Speaking of the game's popularity, GTA 5 currently holds the 2nd spot in best-selling premium games of all time, recently surpassing the milestone of 200 million sold units. Another thing that's worth mentioning is that even though the game didn't get any single-player DLCs, Rockstar Games frequently updates GTA Online, bringing fresh content for the multiplayer mode.
