Jsaux reveals 3 Steam Machine front panel screens: Color E-Ink, Mono E-Ink, Color Dot Matrix

Jsaux has confirmed it will release three front panel options for the Steam Machine after teasing them last year. The announcement comes just weeks after Valve officially released the Steam OS gaming PC.
To recap, the Steam Machine supports interchangeable front panels, including e-ink displays that Valve showcased during its hardware announcement last year. However, Valve isn't planning to sell the e-ink faceplate. Instead, it has released 3D-print files for users who want to make their own. Meanwhile, Jsaux announced plans to make third-party front panels, and has now opened a pre-launch site, revealing three models: Color E-Ink, Mono E-Ink, and Color Dot Matrix.
Pricing and availability details are still under wraps, but interested buyers can sign up for email notifications on the Jsaux website. That said, the front panels can show key system info in real time, like CPU and GPU temps, as well as custom animations and effects. In the preview images, the Color Dot Matrix variant is shown displaying the refresh rate alongside CPU, GPU, and RAM load, while the e-ink panels show a calendar, weather, and date.
