A dedicated Stardew Valley fan known as BlueCaret has released Gunther’s Library, a free Android app that helps players track their progress in ConcernedApe’s beloved farming sim. Launched on October 3, 2025, the app is available on the Google Play Store and has already surpassed 5,000 downloads.
Gunther’s Library requires Android 12.0 or higher and is free to use in its basic version. A premium upgrade, available through a one-time in-app purchase, unlocks additional features. iPhone users, however, are out of luck for now – an iOS version isn’t currently planned. The developer explains that he doesn’t have the required Mac hardware to publish the app on the App Store, though he’s open to a future release on Apple devices. On his Buy Me a Coffee page, he’s asking for voluntary support to help make that happen.
Plan and track Stardew Valley progress on your smartphone
BlueCaret’s Stardew Valley app lets players easily track their in-game progress from their smartphone. It features a complete item database, guides for both the Community Center and Joja routes, detailed gift preferences for all villagers and neatly organized collection lists. Additional tools are available with the premium upgrade, which costs a one-time fee of $5.99. These include a perfection tracker, notes, a calendar, to-do lists and support for managing multiple farms.
Two years in the making – inspired by everyday gaming
BlueCaret says the idea for the app came from his frustration with constantly switching between countless wiki tabs while playing. After about two years of development, the result is a fully featured companion app that’s not only useful but also visually polished. The Reddit community has responded with enthusiasm – many users praise its intuitive layout, smooth performance and thoughtful features. Comments include statements like “I can’t play without this app anymore” and “I’m reinstalling Stardew Valley just because of this app.”
