Hyperkin's limited edition, multiplatform retro controller gets discounted a few weeks after launch

Early in January, Hyperkin announced a new Bluetooth controller with a design based on the SNES controller. Called the Retro Pixel Art Wireless Controller, it was eventually released on January 15. Just a few weeks later, the controller has now received a discount.
The Retro Pixel Art Wireless Controller originally cost $39.99 at launch, but for a limited time, interested buyers can purchase it on Amazon for $35.99. This makes it cheaper than its closest rival, the 8BitDo SN30 Pro (curr. available on Amazon for $39.99).
The Hyperkin Retro Pixel Art Wireless Controller connects via Bluetooth but can also be used as a wired controller via a USB-C cable. It features Hall Effect thumbsticks, gyro support, a turbo function, and textured grips. It also has a battery capacity that will provide up to 15 hours of use.
Another advantage of the controller is its wide compatibility with several platforms. According to Hyperkin, the Retro Pixel Art Wireless Controller is compatible with the Nintendo Switch, Switch 2, Android, ChromeOS, iOS, macOS, SteamOS, Windows 10/11, Raspberry Pi, Tesla cars, and Amazon Luna.
