MagyarHuawei brings new features to Watch GT 4 in latest update
Huawei is rolling out a new update for the Watch GT 4. This is the latest in a series of upgrades for the device, which are currently arriving around once a month, with the previous version landing in December. Software version 4.0.0.161(C00M04) is 47.09 MB in size, bringing various new tools and improvements.
The Huawei Watch GT 4 update increases the maximum number of alarm clocks to 40, a steep increase from the previous limit of 5. Another new tool is privacy and security reminders; the company notes that you must complete the authorization process before downloading some apps. Plus, you can now set the system language to Georgian.
The change log for update 4.0.0.161 notes two improvements. The first is for the weather app, with an upgraded user experience. Plus, the system stability has been enhanced “in certain situations”, though Huawei does not provide further details here. If you own a Huawei Watch GT 4 smartwatch, you can download the update via the Huawei Health app, go to Devices, select your device name, and click Firmware update. Some users have reported not receiving the update yet, suggesting it could be being rolled out in phases.
