Apple has just launched the Watch Series 11 and Watch Ultra 3 following the introductions of the Galaxy Watch8 and Galaxy Watch Ultra 2025 earlier this summer (curr. $599 on Amazon). In response, Huawei is preparing to update its wearable line-up with the Watch GT 6 and Watch GT 6 Pro, which it has now confirmed will launch globally before reaching China.
Based on recent leaks, both the Watch Ultimate 2 and a refreshed Watch D2 would be joining the Watch GT 6 series globally on September 19. Surprisingly and without warning, the company has dropped the Watch D2 Blue Edition across its French, Spanish and UK stores. By contrast, we cannot currently find Huawei's new smartwatch on its German website where it should also eventually be available.
At the time of writing, Huawei is offering the Watch D2 Blue Edition for £349.99 in the UK. In other words, the new variant retails for £30 more than the black and white versions that Huawei released last year.
However, Huawei is offering a coupon code that removes that price difference, which will be available until October 26. While the same is true in France, Huawei's equivalent discount code in Spain drops the Watch D2 Blue Edition's price by 10%. As a result, the Watch D2 Blue Edition is cheaper in Spain than its black or white counterparts.
