Huawei rolls out global smartwatch update with new features
Huawei is rolling out a global update for the Watch Ultimate smartwatch. It arrives a couple of months after the version 5.0.0.30 release, which brought improvements relating to golf and diving activities.
This latest update is reported by Huaweiblog.de to be available for users of the Green, Blue and Black editions of the Huawei Watch Ultimate. On the Green model, the release is referred to as software version 5.0.0.142(C00M04), a 22.94 MB file, while on the other two variants, it is called software version 5.0.0.35(C00M05) and is slightly larger at 38.87 MB.
The change logs for these Watch Ultimate updates are identical. They note that the Golf Mode has been improved with new features. These are said to include tee-off and hole change functions. On top of this, the new software is said to enhance the system stability in “certain situations”, though unfortunately, no further details are provided.
When it is available in your region, you will be able to install the update through the Huawei Health app. It is unclear what stage of the rollout we are at, and therefore, how many users can now download the updates for the Huawei Watch Ultimate.
