The camera department was also one of the phone's highlights. The primary camera on the Mate X7 offers excellent photos and videos, and notably better performance in low-light conditions compared to the Mate X6. We only wish the white balance were a bit more consistent and that the telephoto cam's low-light performance could be optimized a bit more. The Kirin 9030 is extracting as much performance as possible from its fabrication process. Qualcomm Maleoon 935: Graphics chip for smartphones and tablets, integrated in the HiSilicon Kirin 9020. Unfortunately, Huawei does not provide any detailed information. What is certain is that it does not support hardware-based ray tracing and only the older Vulkan 1.0 standard.
Modern games should be playable with these graphics cards at low settings and resolutions. Casual gamers may be happy with these cards.
