Huawei unveiled the new FreeBuds 7i, the latest entry in its audio lineup, at its Product Launch Event in Paris on September 19, 2025. The earbuds introduce intelligent gesture controls and better call clarity with AI noise suppression. Plus, the new pair comes with multi-platform compatibility and a sleek design.
Huawei FreeBuds 7i features
The highlight here is the Intelligent Dynamic ANC 4.0, which offers advanced real-time noise cancellation technology. This ANC system can respond to changes in ambient noise within just half a second, using a sophisticated combination of three microphones and updated AI algorithms. This ensures that you get superior call quality, even in areas with up to 90 dB of background noise. For more convenience, you can connect the FreeBuds 7i to two devices simultaneously, and it's compatible with both Android and iOS.
Adding to the appeal is the immersive 3D spatial audio experience enabled by an Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU) and head-tracking technology. This system adjusts sound directionality based on the listener’s head movement, creating a live, three-dimensional soundscape.
As far as durability is concerned, the pair comes with IP54 certification, which makes it suitable for workouts and outdoor activities. For comfort and extended listening sessions, you get four ear tip sizes and ergonomic curves. You can go hands-free simply by nodding or shaking your head to accept or reject calls, which adds to its hands-free appeal.
Huawei FreeBuds 7i price and availability
Coming to price and availability, the FreeBuds 7i come with a starting price tag of 99.99 EUR (at launch). To make the deal more attractive, Huawei offers a launch promotion in select regions alongside its push for broader global accessibility.
Huawei’s launch of the FreeBuds 7i builds on the success of the FreeBuds 5 and FreeBuds Pro lines, which are known for immersive sound and advanced ANC. This release aims to set a new benchmark for premium wireless earbuds with an emphasis on smart features, endurance, and compatibility to match user expectations.
