Himiway announces new screen for e-bikes with improved brightness
Himiway has announced that it is working on a “new innovative screen” for bikes. The company suggests that the device will significantly improve the existing model. The company aims to resolve many problems faced by riders today, such as low brightness, making the screen hard to read in sunny or low-light conditions and lacking information.
The new Himiway screen will be waterproof to a “very high standard”, with an enhanced hard casing to make the gadget weatherproof in more extreme conditions. The device will feature a color HD display with improved backlight brightness thanks to new materials and updated processes. Plus, the company claims that its new bike gadget will be easier to use than its predecessor.
The announcement follows the launch of several Himiway fat-tire e-bikes on Amazon in the US. The Cruiser, Step-Thru, Zebra and Zebra Step-Thru are powered by a 750 W motor to assist you at speeds up to 20 mph (~32 kph) and have 26-in tires to make your ride more comfortable. The Cruiser and Step-Thru bicycles have an 840 Wh battery for a 60 miles (~97 km) range, while the Zebra versions use a 960 Wh battery to assist you for up to 80 miles (~129 km) on a single charge. The bikes start from US$1,699.
