The Bianchi e-Arcadex e-gravel bike has been launched. The vehicle has been designed to suit a range of terrains, with drops under 15 cm (~5.9-in) tall. The frame’s geometry ensures a more comfortable ride, with shock absorption built into the seat post and 80 mm of travel. The electric bicycle is powered by a 250 W Bosch Performance Line CX motor, delivering up to 85 Nm of torque. A 500 Wh Bosch Powertube battery allows you to travel with assistance for up to 115 km (~71 miles) and can be fully recharged in around four hours.
A cheaper tourer version of the e-Arcadex has also been revealed, with Shimano drivetrain and brake parts rather than the Campagnolo elements used in the standard model. The tires differ between the two variants, with Continental Terra Trail ShieldWall used on the Tourer and Pirelli Cinturato GRAVEL Adventure M fitted to the regular bike. Plus, mudguards and a rear carrying rack for up to 15 kg (~33 lbs) of cargo are included with the Tourer.
The e-bikes are lightweight thanks to a full carbon frame; it is unclear exactly how much each pedelec weighs. The e-Arcadex bicycle is available from €6,099 (~US$6,106) or £5,499 (~US$6,288). The e-Arcadex Tourer is slightly cheaper, retailing for €5,249 (~US$5,255) or £4,699 (~US$5,374).
