Carver Drift E.510 e-mountain bike arrives with 135 km range
The Carver Drift E.510 e-mountain bike has been launched. The pedelec is powered by a Bosch Performance Line CX Gen4 mid-mounted engine, providing up to 85 Nm of torque. The motor can assist you at speeds up to 25 kph (~16 mph), and a 500 Wh Bosch PowerTube battery provides assistance for up to 135 km (~84 miles). This bike has a Bosch Purion display, showing information such as your speed and the battery’s charge level.
The E.510 is equipped with a Shimano Deore 10-speed derailleur and 180 mm Shimano BR-MT200 hydraulic disc brakes. The pedelec has both front and rear suspension with a Rock Shox 35 Silver TK Solo Air E-MTB fork with 160 mm travel. 29-in x 2.6-in (74 x 25 mm) Schwalbe Nobby Nix Addix Performance tires also provide comfort and grip.
The Drift has a gray-colored aluminum frame, weighs 24 kg (~53 lbs), and can support payloads up to 140 kg (~309 lbs). You can currently buy the Carver Drift E.510 electric bicycle for €3,499.99 (~US$3,363). At present, the e-bike is only available in Germany; it is unclear whether or when the company could launch the pedelec in other markets.
