Hi-Fi Rush, Pentiment, Sea of Thieves and Grounded announced as Xbox's four multi-platform games
At its recent Xbox Podcast (which could easily have been an email), Microsoft announced Diablo IV's arrival on Xbox Game Pass and that four previously exclusive titles would make their way to other platforms. While Phil Spencer and co. took great care not to name them, the internet was quick to figure them out, especially after Indiana Jones and Starfield were ruled out. They are Hi-Fi Rush, Sea of Thieves, Pentiment and Grounded. A new post on Xbox Wire officially confirms the said speculation.
Pentiment and Hi-Fi Rush will be playable on PlayStation and Nintendo Switch ($336 on Amazon) on February 22, meaning you can go and grab your copy now. Both are single-player, narrative-driven titles that have been lauded by fans and critics alike for their unique art style and gameplay. Limited Run Games has also announced it will make a physical version of Hi-Fi Rush available for PlayStation and Xbox soon.
Sea of Thieves, a pirate-themed game doesn't make its way to PlayStation 5 until April 30. You can still wishlist it on the PlayStation Store, though. And yes, cross-play will be enabled across all platforms. Unfortunately, Nintendo Switch players have to sit this one out. Lastly, Obsidian's Grounded, a survival game that pits a pint-sized you against the world, launches on April 16 (PlayStation and Nintendo Switch).
