94% HP OmniBook Ultra Flip 2-in-1 review: Outstanding build quality wrapped around Intel Lunar Lake
Source: Techaeris English
Overall, this is an excellent laptop. Yes, the MSRP is steep. Especially for this configuration I have here. But you can find these on sale for a reasonable price, and at the sale prices, the HP OmniBook Ultra Flip 2-in-1 is a really solid value. From its comfortable and easy to use keyboard and haptic trackpad, to the outstanding speakers and brilliant OLED display. I wouldn’t recommend this laptop for hardcore gaming or programming, but I think light gaming, video editing, and photo editing are very doable with ease on the HP OmniBook Ultra Flip 2-in-1. It will certainly fit the bill for basic computing tasks and day to day use.

70% HP OmniBook Ultra Flip 14 Review
Source: PC Mag English
The HP OmniBook Ultra Flip 14 looks and feels premium, and it provides a lot of utility as a CoPilot+ 2-in-1 PC. However, it lacks the power and features to support content creators, whereas the competing Asus ProArt PX13 checks all boxes. The Flip's focus on efficiency and AI performance pushes it into something of a mainstream-premium niche, with its gorgeous touch screen and lots of excellent battery life. If you’re after a portable machine that’s a viable platform for creative output and productivity, the OmniBook Ultra Flip 14 won't let you down, but the Asus ProArt PX13 will comparatively lift you up, and for less cash.

80% HP OmniBook Ultra Flip 14 review: A lovely 2-in-1 with a handful of flaws
Source: Expert Reviews English
All in all, the HP OmniBook Ultra Flip 14 is a fine 2-in-1 laptop. It’s the best for battery life that we’ve seen from that particular genre of machine, and it performs adequately as well. HP combines that with fantastic build quality, decent accessibility, a generous specification for the money, decent levels of repairability and upgradeability, plus a great display. For all this laptop’s strengths, however, there’s also a selection of weaknesses undermining its overall appeal. The lack of a power button or volume buttons on the edge is annoying, the speakers are loud but harsh and the webcam is, frankly, terrible. In a cheaper laptop, those niggles wouldn’t bother me so much, but the HP OmniBook Ultra Flip 14 is a premium laptop with great potential, and it deserves much better.

80% HP OmniBook Ultra Flip 14 Review: A Sleek 2-in-1 Powerhouse
Source: NDTV Gadgets English
Time for the verdict, and I'd like to say that the HP OmniBook Ultra Flip 14 is definitely on the expensive side, and that's something holding me back from recommending it to users. However, if the price isn't an issue, and it should see a drop soon, then this 2-in-1 laptop from HP is a good buy. The OmniBook Ultra Flip 14 has an excellent OLED display, good performance, especially in gaming, great battery life, and is portable. While it does miss out on some basics such as a USB Type-A port, it's not so bad. If you're a creator looking for a 2-in-1 with an excellent screen and good battery life, this is a really good choice.

90% HP OmniBook Ultra Flip 14 Review: A convertible Copilot+ PC that combines style with substance
Source: Tech2.in.com English
The HP OmniBook Ultra Flip 14 truly does standout in the 2-in-1 convertible category. It offers a near-perfect blend of style, performance, and usability. Its 2.8K OLED display is simply stunning and produces vibrant colours and deep blacks that make both work and entertainment a joy. Backed by Intel’s latest Lunar Lake Core Ultra processors, the laptop handles everything from multitasking to even casual gaming with ease. On top of that, you get great battery life, lasting over 15 hours in regular use. The design and build quality are also solid. The aluminium-alloy chassis feels premium and durable, with thoughtful details like diamond-cut edges and magnets for stylus storage.

75% HP OmniBook Ultra Flip review: A compact yet powerful laptop
Source: India Today English
Well, if you are looking for a portable laptop that handles everyday tasks with ease, the answer is a resounding yes. You get a premium design, a vibrant OLED display, and a keyboard that is a joy to type on. The performance is more than enough for multitasking. You can do light photo editing and casual gaming. The battery life is also impressive, easily lasting through a full workday. It is a reliable machine for productivity and this laptop checks most of the boxes in this case. That said, it is not perfect. First of all, it is pricey. In India, its price starts from Rs 1,81,999. That’s expensive for a laptop like this. The lack of USB-A ports might be a hassle if you are still using older peripherals, and the camera quality is underwhelming, especially for video calls.

One of the best ultraportable work laptops I've tested isn't made by Lenovo or LG (and it's $400 off)
Source: Zdnet.com English
HP currently sells the OmniBook Ultra Flip 14-inch laptop for $1,100, which is $400 off the retail price. At $1,100, I highly recommend buying this laptop. It is a lightweight machine with a great display, plenty of storage, and a long-lasting battery. If you're open to alternatives, I've tested and recommend the Dell Inspiron 14 Plus 7441, which houses a better-performing Snapdragon X Elite chipset, a slightly longer battery life, and a wider selection of ports on the side. There's also MSI's Prestige AI Plus Evo, if you value portability. This ultra-lightweight laptop has a stunning 2.8K OLED display and solid performance courtesy of an Intel Lunar Lake processor.

Source: CNet English
The elegant design and sturdy build help cover up the fact that the OmniBook Ultra Flip 14's performance and battery life don't quite match its elevated price. It serves up two features I like to see in any premium laptop or two-in-one: a high-res OLED display and a large, haptic touchpad. If you care more about the overall design and display and don't need bleeding-edge performance, then you'll find lots to like about the OmniBook Ultra Flip 14.

The HP Omnibook Ultra Flip 14 is a competent convertible Windows ultrabook with a fantastic OLED display, solid power and a sleek construction. Against key rivals, it is quite expensive for a laptop in its class, and could do with a stronger port selection. For instance, the Asus Zenbook S 16 (2024) comes with even more potency from its Ryzen 9 AI HX 370 chip, a bigger display, more ports and as strong battery life for a similar price tag. It’s also a similar story for the Samsung Galaxy Book5 Pro 360, which has the benefit of being convertible. For more options, check out our list of the best laptops we’ve tested. 70% I've tried the new HP OmniBook 2-in-1, and I think hybrid workers should give it a good look

This is an ideal Windows laptop for taking on the road or switching between work and personal use. Its bright, sharp OLED touchscreen means it’s a good choice for making movies (and the built-in speakers aren’t actually awful either). While its GPU may be weak by the standards of GeForce chips, and it had a little trouble with the tougher sections of our tests, the CPU performance is generally pretty good, making it ideal for writers, 2D artists, photographers and social media types looking for a portable work machine.

100% HP OmniBook Ultra Flip review: Ultrabook brilliance
Source: T3 English
There's not much to complain about in the HP OmniBook Ultra Flip, beyond its asking price. The design, the screen, the versatility and the sheer quality of the keyboard/touchpad inputs all shine. You have to go digging to find much wrong here! As with other second-generation Intel Ultra chipset PCs, the raw CPU performance is not too impressive on paper. But, for most people, that will be amply repaid by the battery life, graphics power, efficiency and low noise. You can find other Intel or Snapdragon PCs that last a bit longer, or are a bit thinner or lighter. But, true to its OmniBook name, the Ultra Flip can simply do more than just about any direct rival right now. But, still, you’d better get saving...

The HP OmniBook’s combination of the latest Intel processor with a sharp OLED screen looks like a good mix for creative users on the move. However, thanks to the integrated GPU and the power-efficiency focus of the new chip, it’s more suited to office work, presentations, and drawing in tablet mode than it is to pushing large numbers of pixels. It remains an excellent design, with a distinctive look and plenty to recommend it, but it won’t dethrone the MacBook Pro as the studio machine of choice.

80% HP OmniBook Ultra Flip 14 review: Convertible version of the Ultra with a snappy Intel processor
Source: It Pro English
There are a few different options for the 14in OmniBook Ultra; you can have it in different formats or with different processors. However, the Intel-powered Flip model is a solid choice, with its fast Ultra 7 chip, colorful display, and comfortable keyboard. Although its benchmarks were strong, we can't say this format is more useful than just a standard laptop when it comes to work. You'll need to ask yourself if the stylus is something you really need – though the Ultra Flip does work surprisingly well with image editing. In summary, the HP OmniBook Ultra Flip 14 is not quite 'Ultra', as such, but it is still very good.

Source: Laptop Mag English
The HP Omnibook Ultra Flip 14 isn’t perfect, but it does offer a few unexpected strengths that could make it a good fit for certain users. While it fell behind its rivals on overall performance and display quality, the Omnibook’s integrated graphics handle casual gaming very well and the built-in microphone is much better than most other laptops. It also showed strong AI performance and features a design that’s hard not to like. However, if battery life is a top priority for you, you may want to consider a Qualcomm-powered laptop like the Dell Inspiron 14 Plus. Alternatively, if you specifically want a laptop for work with good battery life, the Lenovo ThinkPad T14s Gen 6 currently holds Laptop Mag’s record for longest-lasting battery.

80% HP OmniBook Ultra Flip 14 review: A long-lasting 2-in-1 with an OLED display
Source: PC World English
The OmniBook Ultra Flip 14 is sturdy, well built, and has epic battery life. The keyboard also offers a comfortable typing experience and the track pad is easy to use. But it also has flaws, some of which are outside of HP’s control. If your everyday laptop tasks demand multi-threading performance, then the latest Intel processor falls short. While that’s by design, it’s still something to consider. I’m also not a fan of the port placement and, more importantly, the few choices you get in that area. The bloatware bugs me, too. At this price, suddenly having McAfee rear its ugly head not only on the laptop itself but in my e-mails since the trial arrived expired leaves a bad taste in my mouth. The push for AI, both from Microsoft and HP, also falls flat. But it’s all a matter of what you want and need. If you’re looking for a solid 2-in-1 that gets the job done and you can get behind the idea of efficiency over power, then the HP OmniBook Ultra Flip 14 is worth your consideration.

The HP OmniBook Ultra Flip 14 feels familiar in some ways and distinctly different in others. It features the new Intel Core Ultra Series 2 chip, specifically the Core Ultra Series 7 238V, with an 8-core, 8-thread design and a boost clock of up to 4.7GHz. A significant change this time is that the RAM modules are integrated directly onto the CPU die—a design choice seemingly inspired by the latest ARM-based Snapdragon X Elite chips. HP is selling the OmniBook Ultra Flip 14-inch laptop for $1,600 on its digital storefront. At this price, it's tougher to recommend this over some of the fantastic laptops we've tested at ZDNET that sell for hundreds of dollars less. The price tag is too high for my liking, especially given the performance and bloatware, although if you're looking for a lightweight portable with a great screen, HP's Omnibook is a worthy pick. If you're open to alternatives, I've tested and recommend the Dell Inspiron 14 Plus 7441, which houses a better-performing Snapdragon X Elite chipset, a slightly longer battery life, and a wider selection of ports on the side. One of the best ultraportable work laptops I've tested isn't made by Dell or Lenovo
Source: Zdnet.com English
HP is selling the OmniBook Ultra Flip 14-inch laptop for $1,600 on its digital storefront. At this price, it's tougher to recommend this over some of the fantastic laptops we've tested at ZDNET that sell for hundreds of dollars less. The price tag is too high for my liking, especially given the performance and bloatware, although if you're looking for a lightweight portable with a great screen, HP's Omnibook is a worthy pick. 80% HP OmniBook Ultra Flip 14 review: There’s so much to like
Source: Digital Trends English
The Spectre x360 14 was a great laptop, maybe the best example of the 360-degree convertible 2-in-1. With HP’s rebranding, I was wondering how much else would change with the OmniBook Ultra Flip 14. Fortunately, I didn’t have to worry too much. There’s really not a lot to dislike about the OmniBook. It gets very good battery life, has a gorgeous OLED display, and it look and feels great. Its performance isn’t the best, but it’s fast enough, and its keyboard and touchpad are excellent. It’s most attractive, though, at its sale prices.

HP: Founded in 1939, the US company is a major server and printer manufacturer and one of the leading IT companies in the world. Until 2015, the company was called Hewlett-Packard Company. After a split, the computer division was renamed HP Inc.

In 2023, HP had an approximate market share of 22% of global PC sales, making it number 2 after Lenovo.

Modern games should be playable with these graphics cards at low settings and resolutions. Casual gamers may be happy with these cards.

Intel Arc 140V: A pretty fast integrated graphics adapter that higher-end Intel Lunar Lake family processors employ. This is a direct successor to the Arc 8; it can drive three SUHD 4320p monitors simultaneously via HDMI 2.1, eDP 1.5 and DP 2.1. With the 140V, all 2023 and 2024 games are playable at 1080p on low graphics settings.

Intel Lunar Lake:

Core Ultra 7 258V: An upper mid-range Lunar Lake family processor. It sports 4 new Skymont E-cores and 4 new Lion Cove P-cores running at up to 3.7 GHz and 4.8 GHz respectively, along with the new Arc 140V iGPU and 32 GB of on-package LPDDR5x-8533 RAM. It essentially matches the Core Ultra 7 165U and Core i7-1360P in multi-thread performance and it eats up to 37 W when under short-term workloads.

14.00:

14 inch display size represents a middle ground between the small subnotebook formats and the screens of the standard 15 inch laptops.

The reason for the popularity of mid-sized displays is that this size is reasonably easy on the eyes, provides good resolutions with usable detail sizes, yet does not consume too much power and the devices can still be reasonably compact.

In the past, 14-inch devices were very rare, but now they are the standard for laptops after the 15-inchers.
