HP Envy 34 inch All-in-One Desktop PC presented with an Intel Core i9 desktop processor and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 GPU
HP has announced a new all-in-one (AiO) as part of today's hardware refresh. The Envy 34, or Envy 34 inch All-in-One Desktop PC as HP calls it, integrates some impressive hardware, not least its 21:9 display.
Specifically, HP has included an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 GPU and up to a Core i9 S-series processor. The company has not divulged the processor's name yet, but we imagine that it will be the Core i9-11900. While other Rocket Lake processors like the Core i9-11900K are available, its 125 W TDP seems a bit much for an AiO. Reputedly, the Envy 34 is the first AiO to feature an RTX 3080. Unfortunately, it is unclear if the machine utilises a desktop or laptop variant of the Ampere GPU.

The machine does feature four RAM slots and two M.2 bays though, all of which are user-accessible. The Envy 34 has plenty of ports too, such as two Thunderbolt 4 connections and a full-sized HDMI connection. HP has integrated a 15 W wireless charging pad within the AiO's base as well, which is a nice touch. The wireless charging pad conforms to the Qi standard, for reference.
The 34-inch display itself relies on an IPS panel that operates at 5,120 x 2,160 pixels. Reportedly, the panel covers 98% of the DCI-P3 colour space, which could make it colour accurate enough for professionals. Incidentally, HP talks up its detachable and magnetic camera that you can position around the chassis. The camera includes a 16 MP and 2 μm pixel sensor, relatively impressive as webcams go.
The HP Envy 34 inch All-in-One Desktop PC will start at US$1,999. The machine will be available from early next month, although this may only apply in the US.
