Images reveal the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 with brown Noctua fans
An ASUS employee has shared the first pictures of an ASUS and Noctua GPU, which the former registered with the EEC last month. As expected, ASUS and Noctua have worked together to create a custom GeForce RTX 3070, one of NVIDIA's GA104-based cards. The RTX 3070 Noctua relies on two large fans that feature Noctua's trademark colours, along with a large heatsink finished in brown. While the card's design may suit a PC that already contains Noctua fans, it will probably look out of place in most builds.
Seemingly, ASUS has equipped the card with the Noctua NF-A12x25, a 120 mm fan that includes Noctua's SSO2 bearing. The card also features ASUS and Noctua company logos set in a matching brown inlay, as the photo below shows. Additionally, the 3.5 slot card has three DisplayPort connections, two HDMI ports and dual 8-pin connectors.
While ASUS has not confirmed any specifications about the card, its RTX3070-O8G-NOCTUA model number indicates that it will arrive factory overclocked. Apparently, ASUS will sell the RTX 3070 Noctua for VND 26,000,000, which currently converts to US$1,144. It is unclear how much the collaboration will cost in other markets, although we would be surprised if it is this expensive.
