Reviews for the HP EliteBook 845 G11
HP does not change a lot for the EliteBook 845 G11 and only updates the processor to the Ryzen 7 Pro 8840HS (Zen4). You also get Thunderbolt 4 support now and the very good IPS screen as well as the excellent keyboard remain unchanged.

HP’s EliteBook 845 G11 is a sleek, modern business laptop that’s tailored for professionals. I used this as a day-to-day work machine and with 32GB RAM and a Ryzen 7 Pro chip, the device effortlessly powered through web browsing and tasks across an assortment of office apps. I found the keyboard spacious and comfortable to use for extended periods of typing. The webcam is passable, and we found it can run warm after prolonged use, but these are standard issues with most laptops. Overall, it’s a beautifully designed enterprise laptop with performance that means business.

Modern games should be playable with these graphics cards at low settings and resolutions. Casual gamers may be happy with these cards.

R7 PRO 8840HS: A high-end, Hawk Point family processor that was unveiled in Q4 2023. The 8840HS isn't actually a new chip; instead, it's similar to the Ryzen 7 7840U but with a 5 W higher minimum TDP as well as higher clock speeds on the Ryzen AI NPU. The 8840HS has 8 SMT-enabled cores (16 threads) running at 3.3 GHz to 5.1 GHz. Those Zen 4 architecture cores are mated to the Radeon 780M integrated graphics adapter. Compared to the consumer 8840HS, the PRO variant supports AMD PRO technologies with management features and usually longer availability and support.» Further information can be found in our Comparison of Mobile Processsors.
