The Steam Autumn Sale 2025 is live and it brings some interesting discounts on all genre of games. Those looking for a gritty tactical shooter that deals with the harsh realities of the world can get Ready or Not for 50% off. The game has both single-player and multi-player and is currently sitting at “Mostly Positive” reviews on Steam.

Ready or Not is priced at $25, which is a 50% discount from its typical pricing. The LSPD Bundle which includes the base game along with the Home Invasion, OST, and Dark Waters DLC is currently discounted by 50% as well, coming out to $39. The Autumn Sale ends on October 6.

Meant for mature audiences, Ready or Not has players take on the role of a Special Weapons and Tactics (SWAT) team commander and respond to criminal activities like high-risk hostage situations, active bomb threats, barricaded suspects, and more. Set in Los Sueños, players have to put together a team from a varied roster and meticulously carry out missions. There are also some realistic effects of injuries so being shot in the arm will increase recoil while being shot in the leg will take away the capability of kicking in doors. This is meant to make players be extra cautious when engaging enemies.

Ready or Not was originally designed on Unreal Engine 4 but in July of 2024, it was upgraded to Unreal Engine 5. The graphics and gunplay are quite realistic and there is an active community behind the game working to make it even more so. There are mods that improve the visual realism, as well as augment behaviours of criminals, along with adding more realistic injury penalties.
