Glorious has launched the Model O Eternal, an affordable gaming mouse built for performance. It features an ultralight design, RGB lighting, a Pixart optical sensor, and six programmable buttons.

Glorious has expanded its lineup of gaming peripherals with the addition of the Model O Eternal mouse. Officially listed at $39.99, the mouse weighs just 55 g (1.94 oz) but supports only wired connectivity – which is certainly a trade-off to maintain affordability. However, a wired connection also offers its own benefits. For instance, users can enable RGB lighting without having to worry about reduced battery life. The Model O Eternal features dual-zone RGB lighting capable of illuminating its two side panels and internals, though the lighting may be obscured when using the mouse. Glorious has opted for a honeycomb shell design to minimise weight.

Whilst the Model O Eternal has a largely symmetrical shape, its thumb buttons are located only on the left side, making it better suited to right-handed gamers. According to official specifications, the mouse comes with a total of six customisable buttons, allowing for actions beyond the standard left and right clicks. The built-in Pixart 3311 optical sensor boasts a sensitivity range of 50 to 12,000 DPI, coupled with a maximum polling rate of 1,000 Hz. Additionally, the on-board memory offers enough space for up to three custom profiles. The original non-Eternal Model O is currently available on Amazon for around $40.
