A new rumour says Sony will announce a sequel for Ghost of Tsushima later this year. A PC port of the original is also said to be in the works and will be announced shortly.
A sketchy rumour from earlier this year predicted Ghost of Tsushima would join Demon's Souls, God of War: Ragnarok, The Last of Us Part II and Gran Turismo 7 as PlayStation exclusives to land on PC. There is still no word about when either game will launch, but we could see a sequel to Ghost of Tsushima soon.
A now-deleted post from X user Haothors (via Reddit, Comicbook) says Ghost of Tsushima 2 (tentative) could be announced sometime in May/June 2024 via a State of Play event. The user in question correctly predicted the last State of Play's contents and added that a Ghost of Tsushima PC port is coming "soon".
If announced at the time, Ghost of Tsushima 2 is unlikely to come out before 2025-26. The launch timeline sits in line with Sony's earlier statement about not launching any sequels to major franchises this year. While the ending for Ghost of Tsushima (curr. $59 on Amazon) didn't leave much room for a sequel, Sucker Punch has the chops to cook up something worthy.
