Ghost of Tsushima: Legends coming this fall; will feature new online co-op missions, game modes, and more
Critics and fans agree that Ghost of Tsushima is undoubtedly one of the best PlayStation 4 exclusives of 2020. As is the case with most modern AAA releases, people have been waiting with bated breath about any upcoming DLC. It turns out that players will get a new multiplayer mode called Ghost of Tsushima: Legends. It will be available to everyone who owns the base game for free. You'll still need an active PlayStation Plus subscription, though.
Ghost of Tsushima: Legends will let you team up with up to three other players to complete story-driven missions separate from the game's main arc. The game's teaser shows us four characters emerging from a red portal to fight enemies with other-worldly powers. You get to choose between four classes, namely Samurai, Ronin, Hunter, and Assassin. The developer asserts that player co-operation is of utmost importance in this mode. People wanting to play solo will have to sit this one out, unfortunately. Lastly, there's even a survival mode that pits your team against hordes of enemies.
More content will make its way to Ghost of Tsushima: Legends as time passes. Those who have successfully bested all the story and survival missions will unlock the four-player Raid mode that promises to challenge players like never before. It'll be interesting to see what the devs have in mind for us, given the game's near-Soulsborne nature. Unfortunately, Ghost of Tsushima: Legends' exact release date is unknown at this point. We only know that it will be up for grabs this fall.
