Getac has unveiled the rugged 12.2-inch F120 tablet PC for use in extreme environments.
The Getac is IP66 and MIL-STD-810H certified against 6 ft. (1.8 m) drops, water jet sprays, dust intrusion, and shocks. The unit can be used in temperatures ranging from -29°C to 63°C (-20°F to 145°F).
The F120 is powered by Intel Core Ultra 5 or 7 CPUs with up to 32 GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 2 TB of NVMe storage. Its 1,200-nit 1,920 x 1,200-pixel touchscreen display is designed to be daylight-readable.
The laptop is outfitted with a 5 MP webcam, 13 MP rear camera, stereo speakers, dual microphones, one USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A port, two Thunderbolt 4 Type-C ports, and a docking connector. It can connect over Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4 networks, with optional support for 4G/5G cellular and 10/100/1000 base-T Ethernet networks.
Power is supplied by two hot-swappable lithium batteries in standard capacity (7.74 V, 4,070 mAh) or large capacity (11.61 V, 4,070 mAh), enabling uninterrupted, continuous use. The tablet weighs 1.41 kg (3.11 lbs.) and measures 300 x 207 x 22.2 mm (11.8 x 8.15 x 0.87 in.).
The rugged Getac F120 tablet PC will be available in October 2025.
