Getac has unveiled the rugged 12.2-inch V120 2-in-1 laptop for use in extreme environments.
The Getac is IP66, MIL-STD-810H, and MIL-STD-461G certified against 4 ft. (1.2 m) drops, water jet sprays, dust intrusion, and shocks. The unit can be used in temperatures ranging from -29° C to 63° C (-20° F to 145° F).
The V120 is powered by Intel Core Ultra 5 or 7 CPUs with up to 64 GB of DDR5 RAM and up to 2 TB of NVMe storage. Its 1,000-nit 1,920 x 1,200-pixel touchscreen display is designed to be daylight-readable.
The laptop is outfitted with a 5 MP webcam, stereo speakers, dual microphones, two USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A ports, two Thunderbolt 4 Type-C ports, and an HDMI 2.0 port. It can connect over 10/100/1000 base-T Ethernet, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, or optional 4G/5G cellular networks.
Power is supplied by two hot-swappable lithium batteries in standard capacity (7.74 V, 4,070 mAh) or large capacity (11.61 V, 4,070 mAh), enabling uninterrupted, continuous use. The laptop weighs 2.1 kg (4.63 lbs.) and measures 313 x 238 x 35.7 mm (11.89 x 8.82 x 1.41 in.).
The rugged Getac V120 2-in-1 laptop will be available in October 2025.
