ONEXPLAYER has now joined Valve in implementing a refurbishment program for its distinctive, often orange-accented, line of portable consoles. The OEM asserts that they deliver the same "excellent performance" as their brand-new counterparts and come with a 1-year warranty.
However, there are some drawbacks, in that they are available in the US only and are subject to limited variety and availability. For example, the latest Ryzen 7 8840U version of the ONEXPLAYER 2 Pro refurbished only comes in white at the time of writing.
However, it is also currently just $999 rather than its regular price of $1,359 - with 64GB of RAM and 4TB of storage.
ONEXPLAYER's Mid-Year Sale also offers the "most compact and powerful" Ryzen 7 7840U-based handheld console (the ONEXFLY) at $899, or $200 off its typical RRP.
Alternatively, the Mini Pro, a device with a choice of Ryzen 7 6800U, 7 7840U and Intel Core i7-1260P variants, are available with discounts of $200 or more, thereby now starting at $499 to $659 for the AMD SKUs.
Finally, the top-end 64GB/4TB ONEXPLAYER X1 with the new Core Ultra 7 155H is $100 less on onexplayerstore.com than it is on Amazon at the time of writing.
