Garmin vívofit jr.3: A new smartwatch for children with Marvel and Disney Princess designs launched
Garmin has announced another version of its vívofit jr. range, the third generation of its kind. Garmin has redesigned the vívofit jr. to resemble a smartwatch, but it is still pitched at children, so it has a few features that traditional smartwatches lack. One such feature is an ICE (in case of emergency) widget that allows emergency contact information to be pulled up quickly.
The wearable also features timed activity modes and features games to get children active. The vívofit jr. 3 can track daily activity, sleep and steps like most other smartwatches. Garmin has also included a chores and rewards mode, which can be monitored by parents.
Garmin sells the vívofit jr. 3 in multiple bold colours, which the company calls Digi Camo, Lilac Floral and Blue Stars. Additionally, the wearable is available as Marvel Iron Man, Marvel Black Panther, Disney Princess and Disney The Little Mermaid. All colours retail for US$79.99.
