A new beta update, version 10.26, is currently rolling out to the Instinct 3 AMOLED, Instinct 3 Solar, and Instinct E smartwatches. It arrives a week or so after the last release, beta version 10.21, which tackled issues linked to pairing a GoPro device and missing options when editing apps and activities in Garmin Connect Mobile.
The release notes for beta version 10.26 list three more bug fixes for these wearables. The first resolves a problem where messages sent via the Messenger app were sent to the wrong contact from these Instinst series wearables. The second fixes an issue related to inReach devices, which did not appear to be connected when users viewed the widget.
The third bug fix is only for the Instinct 3 AMOLED and Instinct 3 Solar smartwatches. According to the change log, a problem linked to CT10 sensor pairing has been resolved; the Approach CT10 are automatic club tracking sensors for golfers. Seemingly linked to this, the Sensor Hub has been updated to version 35.10 with this release.
A Garmin representative notes in a forum post that the beta version 10.26 update has been pushed to 50% of eligible users. They do not indicate when the rollout will be complete, or when a stable version of the 10.xx software will be available for all users of the Instinct E smartwatches, Instinct 3 AMOLED and Instinct 3 Solar smartwatches (45 mm, Solar, Black curr. $399.99 at Amazon).
