Garmin releases major new update for multiple smartwatches with over half a dozen changes

Garmin has returned with a new round of updates for the Instinct 3 series. To recap, the company issued an interim v14.xx update to address an issue that prevented some Instinct E smartwatches from working properly (curr. $199 on Amazon). Now, it has finally transitioned the Instinct E and associated smartwatches on to their next major update.
As always, Garmin has started development on its Beta Program. Initially, the company rolled out Beta Version 15.08. However, this was swiftly replaced by Beta Version 15.11 with a fresh set of changes. According to Garmin, all Instinct E and Instinct 3 smartwatches benefit from improved gear suggestions for Hike activities. Additionally, Treadmill distance calibration should now work as expected.
Moreover, Beta Versions 15.08 and 15.11 contain multiple bug fixes to address issues found in System Software 14.15. On top of that, Garmin has included new GPS and Sensor Hub firmwares. The company has not revealed what changes these new firmwares bring, though. Likewise, it is unclear at this stage when Garmin will offer v15.xx software as a stable update. The full changelog between System Software 14.15 and Beta Version 15.11 is as follows:
