Another retailer has shared photos of an upcoming Garmin Forerunner smartwatch before its official release. As we have discussed previously, Beach Camera briefly listed the Forerunner 955 and Forerunner 955 Solar, two versions of the Forerunner 955 series. Subsequently, Løberen published a listing for the Forerunner 255 Music, one of four rumoured models in the Forerunner 255 series.
For reference, earlier leaks suggest that Garmin plans to release the Forerunner 255 and a smaller model, the Forerunner 255s. Additionally, both smartwatches should have a corresponding 'Music' variant, which Løberen has now confirmed. While the retailer has not listed any Forerunner 255 specifications, it did publish several marketing images.

Unsurprisingly, the images show that the Forerunner 255 Music can estimate VO2 Max levels, as well as suggesting training programs. Also, the smartwatch can make and receive phone calls over Bluetooth with a paired smartphone. However, the presence of up, down and back buttons implies that the Forerunner 255 Music lacks a touchscreen.
Furthermore, Løberen priced the Forerunner 255 Music at DKK 3,099, which currently converts to approximately US$447. Although Garmin is unlikely to convert between DKK and USD prices directly, the Forerunner 255 Music is DKK 750 (~US$108) more expensive than its predecessor. Hence, it seems probable that the Forerunner 255 Music will launch for upwards of US$100 more than the Forerunner 245 Music did. If that is the case, then the Forerunner 255 Music could arrive for US$449.99 when it debuts, which is expected to be some time next month.
