GameSir has been on a roll with controller releases lately. At CES 2026, the company showed off several new gamepads, including the Pocket Taco vertical mobile controller, the X5 Alteron made in collaboration with Hyperkin, and a new Aimlabs Edition of its G7 Pro Xbox wireless controller with an 8,000 Hz polling rate. However, among the controllers that quietly appeared at the show without an official launch was a Gold Edition of the original G7 Pro.
The original G7 Pro launched back in June with wired support for Xbox Series X and wireless support for PC. Since then, GameSir has released several variants, including the Shadow Ember edition and special models with Xbox wireless support like the Zenless Zone Zero and Wuchang: Fallen Feathers editions. Now, it looks like the base G7 Pro is getting a fresh gold themed refresh.
A new Amazon listing has revealed what appears to be the unreleased G7 Pro Gold Edition. The image show the standard G7 Pro fitted with a gold faceplate and matching D pad, along with gold GameSir branding and a gold logo on the charging dock. The rest of the controller and dock keep a black finish. Moreover, footage from the GameSir booth at CES 2026 also appears to show the same controller in the background, alongside other unreleased models, including a Dragon’s Dogma II edition.
As mentioned, this is the base G7 Pro that only supports wired mode for Xbox Series X. However, it's wireless on PC and Android, and comes with TMR joysticks, Hall effect triggers, and a 1,000 Hz polling rate. For now, GameSir has not confirmed pricing or availability for the G7 Pro Gold Edition. The controller is already listed on Amazon, but it is currently not available to order.
