GTA 6 radio stations revealed with podcasts and headphone mode in tow

Adding to the GTA 6 pre-launch crescendo that is growing more deafening by the day, Rockstar Games finally pulled back the curtain on the GTA 6 soundtrack genres that will be filling up the players' ears on the in-game radios.
This seems to be the biggest and most varied radio lineup that the Grand Theft Auto series has ever offered, plus a first for the franchise: the invariably popular podcast format. The Rockstar Games studio has detailed six GTA 6 stations covering Latin, country, African, metal, pop, and hip hop.
GTA 6 radio stations
Flash FM returns as the long-running Vice City pop station, now hosted by Robyn and Alex. Dirty South Classics intros Trick and Trina, who would cover regional rap and hip hop from the beaches to the streets.
Cocoteo FM is the modern Latin pick for Leonida, with hosts El Martillo and La Gata, who will take players to the universe of bachata, merengue, dembow, and reggaeton. AfroBank FM, hosted by Burna and Palmsy, focuses on African music. Rockstar tips to expect 20th-century classics and lesser-known gems alongside modern styles such as amapiano and 3-step. Metal fans get The Chamber 106.6 with DJ Kerry and DJ Tom, playing 1980s classics and newer heavy tracks in a nod to Leonida's metal heritage.
Back Country Radio rounds up the list, taking the outlaw country route with MW and Delta Dawne. It is serving Grassrivers, Port Gellhorn, and the more remote areas by also featuring field reporters, a swamp weather forecaster, of all things, and a call-in character named Mud Dog Mike.
GTA 6 podcasts and headphone mode
Podcasts will be available in the Grand Theft Auto series for the first time, too, so the player will no longer be limited only to music while cruising around in whatever wreck of a vehicle one might have picked up.
While podcasts could also add some much needed humor and commentary between missions, Rockstar has also confirmed that players can put on headphones. Listening to music while walking around in GTA 6 should make exploration as a foot soldier far less quiet and tedious than in previous editions.
GTA 6 is currently scheduled to launch on November 19, 2026, for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S. Rockstar has not yet shared the full track lists for the radios, so the actual songs remain a mystery for now. Still, the chosen genres and personalities suggest that a lot of effort went into making Leonida feel like an immersive place with its own culture mix.
