Codenamed "Phoenix Pulsar" and packing the LTS Linux kernel with version 6.18, GLF OS 25.11 also includes the Nvidia driver 590.48 and a generous list of new built-in apps. GLF OS, which hails from France, has just been updated to version 25.11 and is described as "a seamless, intuitive bridge between Windows and Linux, designed to simplify your transition without compromise." Baptized "Phoenix Pulsar," this release comes with the gaming-optimized 6.18 LTS kernel, which also improves hardware compatibility and increases the level of security provided to the user. Additionally, those using Nvidia GPUs get to enjoy the 590.48 driver, which comes with major optimizations for RTX 50/40/30 GPUs, including enhanced ray tracing, DLSS 3.5 support, and improved latency management.

In addition to the above, GLF OS Phoenix Pulsar comes with the following highlights:

  • New GNOME extensions, namely Bluetooth Battery Meter and rounded window corners by default.
  • Ultra-lightweight setup for streamers, with OBS and Stream Dock ready to use.
  • Input remapping for keyboard, mouse, or controller.
  • New built-in apps: Thunderbird, Shotwell/Digikam, Kcalc, and Piper, as well as Reaper + Calf (studio).
  • Nix-Shared-Drive and Nix-Firewall-Management, both developed by the GLS OS team. These tools manage Samba drives and the firewall, respectively.
  • GOverlay, for easily configuring MangoHud.
  • Redesigned and simplified Nix-Disk.
  • New documentation, including a Code of Conduct, technical documentation for GLF tools, the GLF OS firewall management guide, and more.

In addition to the above, there are also a number of fixes and tweaks, as well as other changes. The ISO of this release is quite fat, weighing no less than 6,966 MB. Those interested can simply grab it via BitTorrent (direct Torrent link).
