Forza Horizon 6 PS5 release date reportedly leaks alongside price and physical edition

PlayStation 5 owners may have to wait a little longer to get their hands on Forza Horizon 6. According to reliable Dealabs leaker billbil-kun, Microsoft’s open-world racer will launch on PS5 on January 26, 2027. The launch date would finally resolve some contradictory messaging surrounding the port. Playground Games originally announced that Forza Horizon 6 would arrive on PS5 “later this year” when the Xbox Series X|S and PC release date was revealed in January. The game subsequently launched on those platforms on May 19, 2026. At the time of writing, Playground is still publicly sticking to a 2026 window for the PlayStation version.

The report essentially reiterates The Verge’s claim from earlier and also says that Forza Horizon 6 will receive a physical PS5 release alongside the digital version on launch day. The standard edition will allegedly cost €69.99 in Europe and £59.99 in the UK, identical to Xbox Series X|S pricing. A US price hasn’t been confirmed, although Dealabs expects the game to retail for $69.99.

It remains unclear whether PS5 players will get access to the Deluxe and Premium Editions currently available on Xbox and PC. The latter originally included four days of early access alongside the VIP Membership, Welcome Pack, Car Pass and other DLC. Dealabs says it cannot yet confirm whether a comparable Premium Edition, or an early-access period, will be offered on PS5.  But an official announcement apparently isn’t far away. Dealabs expects Microsoft to reveal the PS5 release date this week, with pre-orders opening shortly afterwards.
