A Forza Horizon 6 player has publicly questioned on Reddit whether some players earned their enormous fortunes legitimately. Many Redditors agree and suspect exploits may be behind the wealth. Others point to a legitimate method that can indeed generate hundreds of millions of credits.

Gamers are currently discussing money in Forza Horizon 6 (Notebookcheck’s benchmark test can be found here). Reddit user u/missindependet1 questions the wealth of particularly rich players, arguing that many of them could not have legitimately earned more than 150 million credits. They say they have put around 200 hours into FH6, but have only earned 70 million credits. Many players feel the same way.

There was reportedly an exploit in Eliminator mode that allowed players to generate enormous amounts of credits in a short time under certain conditions, allegedly even hundreds of millions per hour. Playground Games has since disabled matchmaking for Eliminator mode, meaning the exploit is no longer available. However, that does not necessarily stop players from continuing to earn hundreds of millions of credits in FH6. As some Redditors explain, there is another legitimate way to make that much digital money: the Auction House.

Some users on Reddit dispute the assumption that sums in the hundreds of millions of credits can only be amassed through exploits. Instead, they point to the in-game Auction House. u/Dragonking281, for example, says they earned most of their fortune through the Auction House. Others note that high profits can be made quickly with some market knowledge, as certain vehicles fluctuate sharply in price or are listed well below their actual value by impatient players.

In another Reddit thread about making money in Forza Horizon 6, one user writes that they earned 10 million credits in a single day by reselling cars. Since the Auction House is a regular part of the game, it is entirely possible to build up substantial sums without exploits. However, not every Forza player is likely to want to spend hours trading and bidding on cars. After all, Forza Horizon 6 (Xbox version currently around  $67 on Amazon) is still a racing game. Anyone who knows other good credit-farming methods is welcome to share them in the comments.
