Barely any time has passed since Xiaomi lifted the lid on the Redmi Note 14 series. Regardless, it seems that the company is pressing ahead with a 4G refresh, just as it did earlier this year with the Redmi Note 13 series.
For context, Xiaomi has only presented the Redmi Note 14, Redmi Note 14 Pro 5G and Redmi Note 14 Pro Plus so far in China. However, evidence is mounting that a global release is on the cards. To that effect, the Redmi Note 14 Pro 5G has now passed through the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) in the US.
Additionally, Xiaomi has certified what appears to be a 4G model with the same regulatory body. As always, the FCC does not refer to the device by name. Instead, the regulatory body lists the device's model number '24116RACCG', which suggests that a global release could be planned for November 2024.
Moreover, 24116RACCG will only support up to 4G connectivity. Thus, it looks as though Xiaomi intends to offer a direct Redmi Note 13 Pro 4G (curr. $215.52 on Amazon) successor. Added to that, the FCC has disclosed a document showing 24116RACCG samples featuring a 6.67-inch pOLED display outputting at 1080p with a 5,500 mAh battery. As the image below shows, the device should be available in three memory configurations up to 12 GB of RAM and 512 GB of storage too. Unfortunately, the design of the Redmi Note 14 Pro 4G has not surfaced yet.
