KFC Gaming in collaboration with Cooler Master is introducing a new KFConsole based on the Intel NUC 9 Extreme Kit and a probable Asus Dual GeForce RTX 2070 GPU. The KFConsole aims to satiate both your hunger for games and also real hunger by including a built-in chicken warmer that uses system heat to warm food.

The word "console" usually reminds us of popular offerings from Sony, Microsoft, Nintendo, or even Valve's Steam Machine but none of them featured a built-in chicken warmer, so gamers have no option but to take a break from their intense gaming sessions just to grab a bite. Well, all that changes now with the KFConsole — a gaming console built by Cooler Master for KFC.

Based on the Intel NUC 9 Extreme Kit with a 9th gen Coffee Lake processor, Cooler Master has designed a custom NC100 chassis that resembles a KFC bucket. While the full specs are still under wraps for now, the KFConsole features a hot-swappable Asus GPU and dual Seagate BarraCuda 1 TB NVMe SSDs.

The KFConsole is touted be VR-ready and is said to support ray tracing, so it likely features a GeForce RTX card, which does seem to resemble the Asus Dual GeForce RTX 2070 Mini OC on first look — a card that is designed to fit in Intel NUC 9 Extreme Kit chassis. Interestingly, Cooler Master claims this console can drive 240 fps with up to 240 Hz 4K displays.

Specs apart, the custom chassis designed by Cooler Master's mod team also includes a "Chicken Chamber" that allows you to warm your food while fragging enemies. The Chicken Chamber uses heat and airflow in the chassis to keep the food warm. Essentially, all the heat emanated from the components helps warm your chicken and this helps cooling the system at the same time. Pretty ingenious if it really works well.

There is no availability or pricing info for the KFConsole yet but given its unique design, there's a very good chance its cost may not really be palatable to many — assuming this will even enter mass production.
