Square Enix has cut Final Fantasy VII Rebirth by 85 percent on the Epic Games Store, bringing the standard edition to $7.49 for PC players. The discount is part of the publisher’s Harvest Sale, which runs until November 16, 2026.

Epic Games Store pricing

The Final Fantasy VII Rebirth Digital Deluxe Edition is also marked down, falling from $69.99 to $10.49. It adds a digital art book and a mini soundtrack to the base game. Players who already own the standard edition can buy the Digital Deluxe Edition Upgrade for $3.00 instead of the usual $20.00.

Earlier price cut and PC update

The sale follows a permanent price cut that took effect on February 9, 2026. Square Enix lowered the PC and PlayStation 5 versions by $20 across editions, setting the standard edition at $49.99 and the Digital Deluxe Edition at $69.99. The reduction arrived as the publisher announced Final Fantasy VII Rebirth for Nintendo Switch 2 and Xbox, which launched on June 3, 2026.

A June 2026 update, version 1.005 on Steam and the Epic Games Store, later added the optional Streamlined Progression toggles and a New Game Head Start option to the PC version. Each Streamlined Progression toggle can be switched on or off from the in-game options menu.

PC system requirements

The game needs 16 GB of RAM, 155 GB of SSD storage, a graphics card with Shader Model 6.6 support, and an operating system with DirectX 12 Ultimate support. The minimum spec targets 1080p at 30 FPS on the low preset with a GeForce RTX 2060, Radeon RX 6600, or Intel Arc A580. Square Enix recommends 12 GB of video memory or more for 4K play.

Switch 2 sale

Square Enix is running the same Harvest Sale on the Nintendo eShop, where the Switch 2 version of Final Fantasy VII Rebirth is also $7.49. Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade falls to $7.99 on Switch 2, so both games together cost $15.48. Nintendo’s US sales page lists that sale ending at 11:59 p.m. Pacific on November 16.

The discounts arrive ahead of Final Fantasy VII Revelation, the final game in the remake trilogy, which is scheduled for April 8, 2027.
