Alteredblood+ enters Steam early access

Singapore-based independent developer and publisher Trueworld Studios released Alteredblood+ into Steam early access for Windows PC on November 4, 2026 (Pacific Time). The fast-paced first-person movement shooter and 3D platformer costs $9.99, with a 15 percent introductory discount bringing it to $8.49 through November 11.
The Version 0.1 build needs 3 GB of storage. Steam currently shows 100 percent of its 14 user reviews as positive, at publishing time. A free demo covering the first two missions is also available under Steam App ID 4634350.
Blood-absorption combat mechanics and Version 0.1 content
Alteredblood+ is set inside Mother, a self-replicating megastructure that has consumed 99.99999997 percent of the observable universe. The player is a Reaper sent to stop the humans carving into Mother and feeding on her blood.
Combat revolves around splattering blood. Dealing damage coats nearby walls and floors and kills burst enemies into gibs that spread the coverage further. Sliding, dashing, or stomping on blood restores health and ammo. Standing in blood triggers an altered state that lets the player fight faster, jump higher, pass through obstacles like liquid, and power up weapons. Traversal draws on bunny hopping, air strafing, surfing, trimping, and rocket jumping, with Classic and Modern air control settings.
Version 0.1 includes the first story chapter, split into three episodes and six missions reached through a hub world with difficulty settings. The Gravekeeper wave survival mode adds three arenas, and online leaderboards cover both global and friends rankings. The arsenal includes four weapons and a knife, and players face six enemy types with Altered variants and one chapter boss. Players can customize blood and Reaper colors.
Early access roadmap and PC system requirements
Trueworld Studios plans to keep Alteredblood+ in early access until late 2027, raising the price gradually as more stories and features arrive. Planned updates include large content drops such as episodes or full chapters, new Gravekeeper arenas, localization, and reworks and bug fixes. The full version is also due to add weapons, enemy types, and improved accessibility options.
The game uses DirectX 11 and supports DualShock and DualSense controllers over USB and wireless. Linux and macOS are not officially supported. Minimum specs, targeting 60 to 120 FPS, are Windows 10, an Intel Core i5-6500, 8 GB of RAM, and an Nvidia GeForce GTX 1050. Recommended specs are Windows 10 or 11, an AMD Ryzen 5 5600, 16 GB of RAM, and an Nvidia GeForce RTX 3060.
Outward 2 is also coming to early access; more details can be found in our coverage.
