Honor 700 series phones leak with Snapdragon 8 series chipsets

Honor recently confirmed the Honor 700 series for the Chinese market. However, the company has yet to reveal specifications and an exact launch date. For context, the Honor 600 series was released in China in May 2026. Now, tipster Digital Chat Station has named the chipsets that could power the next-generation lineup.
According to the tipster, the standard Honor 700 will use the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4, while the Honor 700 Pro will feature the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5. For comparison, the Honor 600 Super Edition and Honor 600 Pro sold in China use the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 and MediaTek Dimensity 8550 Elite, respectively.
A previous leak suggested that the Honor 700 Pro could feature a 6.57-inch display with a "1.5K" resolution, a 1.72-inch rear display, and a 200MP primary camera. Digital Chat Station has since suggested that the standard Honor 700 will also feature a rear display and a periscope telephoto camera.
Notably, both models are tipped to support an external 200mm teleconverter. Do note that the Chinese and global Honor 600 models differed in design and specifications. It remains to be seen whether Honor will make similar changes to the global Honor 700 series.
