Honor unveils flagship with two fans, 200 MP camera and 10,100 mAh battery

Honor today unveiled a brand-new flagship smartphone, the Win2. At first glance, the new flagship of the Win series features a relatively conventional design with a flat metal frame, a punch-hole front camera and a rectangular camera module in the style of the Apple iPhone 18 Pro ($1,439 on Amazon), but this module houses two fans in addition to two cameras.
These spin at up to 3,100 revolutions per second and are said to cool the smartphone by 10 °C in just 50 seconds. This cooling system is designed to allow the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 to deliver top-notch performance even under sustained load. Combined with two shoulder buttons and a 185 Hz display, this makes the Honor Win2 perfectly suited for gaming. The 6.89-inch AMOLED panel has a resolution of 3,104 x 1,440 pixels and an impressive peak HDR brightness of 10,000 nits, while the PWM frequency of 5,920 Hz is intended to prevent visible flickering.
The 10,100 mAh battery is said to enable up to 17.7 hours of gaming or 50.5 hours of GPS navigation. Charging is handled either via USB-C at 100 watts or wirelessly at 80 watts. Despite its fan and huge battery, the Honor Win2 is IP69K-certified and therefore waterproof, while its body, at 8.5 millimeters and 237 grams, is thinner and lighter than that of the iPhone 18 Pro Max. The Honor Win2 features a 50 MP f/2.0 selfie camera, a 200 MP f/1.9 main camera with a 1/1.4-inch sensor, and a 12 MP f/2.2 ultra-wide-angle camera.
Pricing and availability
The Honor Win2 is available in China in five configurations, ranging from the base model with 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of flash storage for ¥5,499 ($820) to the top model with 16 GB of RAM and 1 TB of storage for ¥7,699 ($1,150). It is currently unknown whether Honor plans to launch the Win2 in the rest of the world.
