Explore the world of God of War through the Boy's eyes with the new book God of War: Lore and Legends
A new book invites players of the latest God of War game to explore the title’s world through the eyes of its main supporting character.
God of War: Lore and Legends is a new book from writer Rick Barba and publisher Dark Horse. The tome is filled to the brim with artwork, lore, trivia, and many other interesting tidbits from the latest title in the storied action series.
The book is styled as a journal written from the perspective of Atreus, the son of the main character Kratos. Gamers may know Atreus better as Boy, which is how Kratos refers to him throughout the game.
According to Dark Horse, the book “chronicles Atreus and Kratos' journey through the fabled Nine Realms, from the Wildwoods of Midgard to the mountains of Jötunheim and beyond.” Additionally, the book includes a detailed bestiary and overviews of the main characters in the game.
God of War: Lore and Legends is available as a hardcover for varying prices from Barnes and Noble (US $34.99), Books-A-Million ($34.99), Indigo ($45.99), and Amazon ($23.77). It can also be purchased as a digital eBook from Amazon (compatible with Kindle and comiXology, $20.99) and Dark Horse ($29.99 MSRP, currently $20.99).
