The thin 15.6-inch gaming notebook is one of the few with SIM 4G LTE compatibility and triple storage bays.

Eurocom is popular for its ultra high-end and server-class Clevo notebooks, but they also offer lightweight and ultrathin solutions for the general enthusiast as well.

Unlike the 14-inch Armadillo series, the Shark series offers a larger 15.6-inch display in a similarly thin chassis. Core options are limited for now including the Haswell i7-4720HQ and GTX 960M, but we do expect at least a few more newer CPU options in the future. Otherwise, RAM and storage options are very wide as expected form the reseller. The double storage bays (2.5-inch SATA III + M.2) can be accompanied by a third ODD bay, which is an uncommon feature on thin notebooks. Additionally, the Shark includes an internal SIM slot with 3G/4G compatibility to further separate itself from other popular gaming and consumer notebooks.

The Eurocom Shark 4 is now available starting for roughly $950 USD. Be sure to check out its official configuration page for more details and images.

After graduating with a B.S. in environmental hydrodynamics from the University of California, I studied reactor physics to become licensed by the U.S. NRC to operate nuclear reactors. There's a striking level of appreciation you gain for everyday consumer electronics after working with modern nuclear reactivity systems astonishingly powered by computers from the 80s. When I'm not managing day-to-day activities and US review articles on Notebookcheck, you can catch me following the eSports scene and the latest gaming news.
