The new models will have LGA 1151 sockets and DDR4-2133 memory support.

Right off the heels of the recent Clevo announcement comes another from Eurocom, who is a popular reseller of Clevo barebones. The reseller will launch the upcoming 15.6-inch Eurocom X4 and 17.3-inch Eurocom X6 high-end performance notebooks with Skylake support, specifically the desktop Core i7-6700K.

The notebooks will utilize the Intel Z170 chipset with the usual wide range of customization options as expected from a Clevo shell. This includes a full-size LGA 1151 socket, 4K displays, MXM 3.0b slots, M.2 SSDs, and support for DDR4 RAM. The quad-core i7-6700K itself is a 91 W CPU, so these notebooks will likely take hardware queues from the current Clevo P750ZM and P770ZM that make up the P5 Pro and P7 Pro, respectively.

Other improvements include Turbo Boost 2.0 and Intel HD 530 graphics with DirectX 12 that are inherent to the new processor. The press release unfortunately makes no mention of G-SYNC or when the X4 and X6 will be available to users.
