Epson launches new compact projector with 30,000 lumens brightness

Epson unveiled its new EB-XQ2030B 4K projector at ISE 2026. The company describes the model as “ground-breaking” and claims that it is the smallest and lightest 4K projector in the world to offer up to 30,000 lumens brightness. It measures 620 x 580 x 220 mm (~24.4 x 22.8 x 8.7 inches).
Designed for commercial use in larger venues, the Epson EB-XQ2030B is said to be relatively easy to transport and install. It uses the brand’s patented 4K Crystal Motion technology, with a native 4K (3,840 x 2,160 px) resolution and an over 5,000,000:1 contrast ratio. The laser light source generates 30,000 lumens in normal mode, or 21,000 lumens in eco mode, running for around 20,000 hours with typical use. In its native aspect ratio of 16:9, the throw ratio is 1.52-2.47:1, though it supports a wider range of 0.39-11.1.
Users of the Epson EB-XQ2030B projector can adjust the image with 1.6x motorized optical zoom, manual vertical and horizontal keystone correction and powered lens shift. You can wireless screenshare via Apple AirPlay 2 or Miracast, and the device can be managed using Epson’s computer software or smartphone apps. This model offers a range of ports, including HDMI (HDCP 2.3) and HDBaseT, and Intel SDM slot compatibility adds support for AVoIP standards and integrated media players. Plus, the Advanced Cooling Engine is said to prevent the device from overheating.
The Epson EB-XQ2030B 4K laser projector will launch at some point between June and September 2026. The price of this commercial model has yet to be confirmed.
